Katelyn and Jeff chose to have an intimate wedding with just 16 immediate family members at the historic Shore Acres home in the Harbor Island area of Wrightsville Beach, NC. The event was as magical, intentional, and joyful as it sounds. They even included their dog, Penny, in the celebration. The house featured a tropical oasis in the backyard, with 16 beautiful wooden folding chairs shaded by a glorious live oak. The arbor centerpiece, created by the talented Fiore Design House, was breathtaking.
Katelyn and Jeff did a first look so they could welcome their families upon arrival, took a couple shots of tequila for the nerves and then swept right into the sweetest ceremony. After family photos on the property, we took the celebration over to Bluewater Waterfront Grill. This gorgeous restaurant is on the intracoastal and overlooks all the nautical classics like multi-million dollar yachts, Dockside, Fish House, Bridgetender and the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge.
We did a few photos on the docks before celebrating with a dinner inside Bluewater. This included fresh seafood apps, a wholesome salad, and mouth-watering surf 'n turf entree. Because it was an intimate affair, they only needed me to capture a few hours of memories, but it truly felt like I got to know them in that short time. They are every bit as genuine and beautiful as they look in these images and I truly wish them a lifetime of happiness. Man, what an amazing day.... CONGRATULATIONS to Katelyn and Jeff!
